As I have mentioned, I have assumed Leadership roles in Operations and Human Resources in order to produce change and deliver results.  I emphasize a company’s culture and resources in order to realize performance. No matter the industry, the ability to integrate human capital, performance practices and evaluation metrics into an operation will produce results.  How you manage the results will be “key” to a company’s success.  I welcome challenge and I produce successful resultsWilliam Burda

My responsibilities normally include the development and management of the following programs:

  • Ensures the capabilities, resources and skills of team members are consistent with the needs of senior leadership. 
  • Leads a strategic approach to developing long range project goals and objectives, developing a plan to reach those goals and developing a method to monitor the projects progress and challenges.
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of existing business practices and financial expectations.
  • Ability to build and sustain a collaborative high performance team culture that encourages creativity, innovation, empowerment, and vision.
  • Partners with business unit leadership and management to define, align and execute integrated strategies based on business objectives and operational plans.  
  • Demonstrates knowledge of what drives success for the business.
  • Maintain a proficiency in management systems technology in order to generate needed reports and data management.
  • Takes initiative to be a self-starter and able to be proactive when initiating an action or response to an issue, challenge or opportunity. 
  • Establish and support multiple site program integrations and optimizations.
  • Establish, monitor and maintain an on-going risk awareness of the environment and operation.  Demonstrates a proactive approach to risk control.
  • Establishes a working knowledge of contract and vendor relationships.  Manages these relationships according to operational need and market mix.
  • Establishes and maintains talent management to include total rewards management, team member engagement and team member retention.
  • Continue to establish credibility throughout the organization with management and employees in order to be an effective listener, advocate, counselor and problem-solver regarding human capital issues.
  • Ensure the HR Program meets compliance and offers team members a "focused approach" and value-added support programs that reinforce the culture of the company.
  • Conduct training needs analysis. Establish training programs as identified and needed (reactive/proactive).
